LisaRaye and Rev. Al Sharpton had been photographed at several events together and rumors swept the Internet [read: Black entertainment blogs] that they were dating.

Well, LisaRaye wants you to know that the good reverend does not have enough money to date her is not her new man. According to her reps, the reason they’ve been showing up together is because LisaRaye’s foundation, Radiant Jewels [<--awards scholarships to young girls], is involved with Al Sharpton, Newt Gringrich and Education Secretary Arne Duncan’s White House Education Tour.

“Every time you see LisaRaye with some person, don’t assume that she’s dating them,” her rep says. “There’s a bigger picture to what she’s doing.”
