Woman Faked Having Breast Cancer To Get Implants
A 24-year-old Texan woman has been arrested and charged with theft by deception after she fooled friends and co-workers into paying for her breast implants.
Police say Trista Joy Lathern lied about having breast cancer and spent $10,000 raised at a benefit to have her breasts enlarged. To make it appear like she really had cancer, Trista shaved her head to look like a cancer patient undergoing chemotherapy.
Trista wanted breast implants to try to save her seven-month marriage. Too bad, that didn’t work. He immediately filed for an annulment.
