Jay Z stole the idea for “Empire State of Mind” from LL Cool J’s “New York New York” Youtube it and listen to it. He calls NY Rappers out and has a Sinatra “New York” In the background. Jay Z stole that idea and broke into two parts “death of the auto-tune and Empire State of Mind”. Why shouldn’t LL call him out, his “New York, New York” was good and of course Jay hears something good, steals the idea and twists it out. WTF, GO on LL say what you want to say, what I want to know is why you haven’t call J out on “Empire State of Mind” He’s famous for stealing a chorus and nobody calls his thieving ass out.

JAY Z’s hunger for fame & money above all else only make him the Black Madonna, another iconic poseur who serves as an opiate to the delusional masses chosen and embraced by the corporatists because his self promoting Narcissism is a better face for what was once a more aggressive stance of the the Hip Hop movement prior to Jay Z’s arrival on the scene, challenging the existing social order. Powerful forces in our society help this man extend his brand as the false face of Hip Hop, and that is by design a slap down and subversion of the true aims & growth of the original Hip-Hop Movement which was to promote social change, equality and advancement of community agenda that uplifts all of society rather than promotion of the narcissistic goals of a few select individuals. That the delusional masses worship at Gay Z’s iconic pose gets them to stop asking the painful questions about the current state of reality in our country. They even help Jay Z cover up his rumored gayness and that Beyonce is but a beard to protect the illusion that Jay Z is straight. Not that it matters but it would make him less popular with a wide swath of his followers. Sadly, I think that LL was right in his comments about Jay Z, there are just so many forces selling Jay Z as an Icon. He best keep the glasses on or he will continue to remind people of a pack of Camel Smokes. Jay Z is a skilled promoter, an opportunist who’s artistic work is largely derivative and a rip off of those who came before him.

Why is everyone hating on jay-z?????? PPl are just jealous that he is 40 years old with 11 hit albums. like he says he is and will be the strongest Nigga in the game. Everyone needs to stop hating and respect the legend, not his fault everyone one else died bc they make crap music or use the same beats over and over again.
