Don’t like the taste of alcohol, but still want to get wasted? Take a pill!

Professor Evgeny Moskalev of Saint Petersburg Technological University has found a way to powder certain forms of alcohol without effecting its’ potency, and place it in a capsule for ingestion.

So far most experiments have been based around vodka, but whisky, wine, cognac, and even beer and other liquor types can be powders and made into these pills.

There are several advantages associated with this type of alcohol. For one, those that don’t like the taste can skip it while still enjoying the effects.

Another benefit is that the ‘dosage’ can be more heavily regulated by the consumer, so they know the effects per pill, and exactly how much they are taking.

“We have developed a technology that allowed us to turn any liquid solution into powder,” Moskalev said.

There is no word on whether or not these pills will be produced and sold to consumers.
