Birdman Blames R Kelly For Wasted Money Calls Him A Clown
Cash Money records co-founder Baby aka Birdman popped off on his feelings about R&B legend R. Kelly and said working with the veteran has put him at a financial loss.
“Probably the worst investment I did was f*ckin’ with R. Kelly. That was a waste of my time. I could’ve made money if I wasn’t f*ckin’ with that clown-ass n**ga”
Back in 2003 Birdman and R. Kelly were going to join together to drop a collaboration album called “Best of Both Worlds 2″. Best of Both Worlds 1 was a collab album between Jay-Z and R. Kelly that performed bad and eventually lead to a tour falling out between the two of them after egos collided. I guess R. Kelly’s ego continued with his work with Baby.
Birdman also talks about exploring into Country music. “Country is where the other money at,” Baby said in an interview. “I just ain’t found me a Country act yet, but as soon as I do, it’s on. We’ve already had some Country records; my son rapped with Kid Rock and sh*t and it blew up, so I’m just waiting to find the right Country act to sign so my son can do a song with him and blow him up.”.
