Ice Cube Is Pissed Of At New West Coast Artist

Since Ice Cube announced his album, I Am The West, the likes of Crooked I, Glasses Malone and Bishop Lamont have reportedly had some words stating that Cube needs to just let the new school handle things.
It was rumored that Crooked sent a message to Cube saying we were on to the next and just let 96 stay there and allow the 2010 artists to ride in the driver’s seat.
Apparently, Cube doesn’t take such words lightly, and felt as though he needed to school the new generation through his blog.
“What’s up with these local MC’s in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They’re just mad cause I don’t f**k with they wack-a**. They ain’t on my level, why should I waste my time. I don’t even remember ever meeting these clowns
or even being in the same room with any of ‘em. They can’t make a name
for themselves so they need help from the O/G’s. I refuse the throw’em a
life line. f**k’em. It ain’t my job to make nobody famous. And for the
record, I ain’t scared of no n***a. Especially, no
rappers….seriously people.”
He also spoke on the idea that old rappers don’t belong in the Hip-Hop ring anymore.
“Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize
NEWER ain’t always better. We find ourselves saying, “Back in the day,
bah, bah, bah….” All young MC’s should route for old MC’s to have
long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in
hip-hop when you get 40?”
As an OG in the game and one that has created many opportunities, the actor/rapper kept it simple for the new generation that feel the need to comment on his return.
“Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world.”
THE WEST COAST’S CIVIL WAR?
I wonder what Ice Cube is actually doing. Surely, this is all a part of some promotion, right? But, when he found out about the “No Country For Old Men” rumors, he must have been livid. Here is the latest.
Jay Rock, who was just in the rumors yesterday, has balked back. Here is what he said via Twitter.
WATTS UP WIT ICE CUBE TALKIN KRAZY ABOUT NEW WEST n***as.IF HE GOT A PROB WIT 1 OF US HE SHUD SAY R NAME N STOP BN SCARED 2 CALL A N***A OUT
ON SOME REAL STUFF I AINT NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH CUBE OR NONE OF THE OG n***as. BUT IF HE SAY NEW WEST IM APART OF THAT
TO ME HE TALKIN BOUT ALL OF US IF HE DIDNT SAY A NAME. THATS HOW THE WEST GOT FUCKED UP IN THE FIRST PLACE
YALL KNOW AINT NO N***A STAMPED ME. I DONT NEED NO N***A. ALL I NEED IS A MIC MY HOOD MY FANS AND THIS BIG A$$ GUN
GLASSES MALONE TO DISS ICE CUBE?
Glasses Malone is one of the main people that was reportedly going to diss Cube. Then he didn’t Now, I am getting the ill rumor. Sources say that Glasses Malone is working on a new mixtape with DJ Nik Bean which will be a full out assault on Ice Cube. Of course, this is lyrical, but…I’m saying! Word is that Malone isn’t backing down although the other members that were a part of the original project aren’t planning any responses as of this moment. That means Bishop Lamont and Crooked I are chilling.
THE THIRD PART OF THE PIE
There is a third and interesting part of this pie of beef. W.C. who is Ice Cube’s closest friend is having a concert on April 17th with Mack 10 at The Key Club in West Hollywood. Why is this interesting? Well, Ice Cube and Mack 10 no longer get along so W.C.’s joint concert with Mack 10 is an interesting development. Also, it seems like Cube is taking his son on tour, which typically that would be W.C. Word is that Mack 10 isn’t thrilled about Cube telling him to kiss the ring!

For the most part the only ones who like the “New West” sound is the west (from a sales point of view). The West ain’t been “crackin” in a good minute. Thas not a diss thas just what it is. Snoop definitely keeps them somewhat relevent and Game does make some descent songs (and most of them have guest appearences). And if they gonna tell Cube to fall back then they gotta tell Snoop and Dre to do the same……smh.

hahaha…….get em Cube! Why would rappers want to seal their own fate and stop themselves from gettin money in this game as long as possible. Dumbazzes! None of them young cats is no where near Cubes status in the game…..”AIN’T NO OTHER KINGZ IN THIS RAP THING, THEY SIBLINGS, NOTHIN BUT MY CHILDREN”…..that pretty much sums it up for me. Big up to E-40, Too Short, Snoop, Cube, and all the OGs who still eatin off this music shit! Lil nggaz, watch and learn. Don’t be a fool.
