TI Says ‘New LP Will Have Impact Of Tupac’
TI has compared himself to Tupac Shakur, saying his comeback is the “most significant return from incarceration” since that made by the late rapper in the 1990s.
The rapper, whose King Uncaged is his first project since serving time in prison this summer, has claimed that the release of his seventh studio LP will be reminiscent of Shakur’s All Eyez On Me.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, TI said: “This is the most significant return from incarceration that the game has had since then.
“Just given the enormous success of that project, everyone’s expecting the same results. I just want to meet the expectations, if not surpass them.”
