Man Drinks 21 Shots For His 21th Birthday And Dies
It’s a ritual that happens all too often. A person turns 21 year old. So he or she is challenged to take 21 shots of an alcohol of choice, usually whiskey.
On April 7, a 21-year-old Independence man took the 21-shot challenge. The following day, he died from severe alcohol poisoning at an area hospital.
On April 9, hospital officials notified Sugar Creek police. An investigation revealed the man took 21 shots of alcohol, according to Sugar Creek Detective Virginia DeBoard.
The man was celebrating with friends and family at a local bar in Sugar Creek, police said.
He was taken to a local hospital by friends who took him from the bar to the hospital, according to police.
“It’s becoming more prominent, especially on college campuses,” DeBoard said.

it doesnt matter how many shots you take , its all bout your system. you can 5 n be good for the rest of the night. 21 shots is a lot if you think about it. I feel bad for his friends n family , but everyone should take this as a reminder.
