Rick Ross Is Suing Rick Ross

The real Freeway Ricky Ross is planning to sue the rapper Rick Ross for name jacking. At least I think he’s planning to sue. He could be talking about taking it to the streets. His statement was vague.

Former LA drug kingpin Freeway Ricky Ross says the rapper Rick Ross is exploiting his name and wants the rapper drop the alias immediately.

In a press release spotted at BallerStatus, Freeway’s camp stated,

“It’s no secret that the boss at FreewayEnterprise.com is unhappy with how his name has been exploited and misused since he went to prison in 1995, and in 2006, the above-named parties [Def Jam] signed (William L. Roberts II) to a big record deal and then spent, and made, millions off Ross’ name.”

Freeway vows to “gain control of his name in commerce by any means necessary.”
