Man Burns Down His House Because His Wife Didn’t Cook Dinner On Time
Guy Jones has been charged with first degree arson.
SISSONVILLE — A Sissonville man turns violent after his wife didn’t have dinner on the table after a night of drinking according to police.
Guy Jones set fire to the basement of his home on Derricks Creek Road shortly before midnight, Sunday.
His wife Beverly Jones fled to a neighbors house and was unharmed.
Jones was arrested and charged with first degree arson.
He is currently booked in the South Central Regional Jail, and held on a $50,000 bail.
The Sissonville Volunteer fire department is on the scene Monday, as the fire continues to re-kindle.
