Uncle Luke Gives His Opinion On The ‘Ground Zero Mosque’ Being Built

Uncle Luke shares his thoughts on the Ground Zero Mosque for Miami New Times:
I don’t believe there should be a mosque next to the Ground Zero memorial site in New York City. While the United States is a free, beautiful country that opens its arms to all people, the fact is that some Muslim thugs hijacked two planes, blew up the Twin Towers, and killed 3,000 innocent people. I don’t care how anyone tries to spin it; the people behind the mosque are using our kindness as a weakness. You’ll never see the Ku Klux Klan try to put up a building in the heart of Liberty City.
What they really want to do is celebrate the martyrdom of terrorists who blew up the World Trade Center. Screw that. Anybody who is involved with putting that mosque next to Ground Zero should be investigated — from the architects to the imam. The cleric responsible for the whole thing, Feisal Abdul Rauf, has been sued for mortgage fraud, his tenants have complained about bed bugs, and he has overly close ties to local officials in New Jersey.
President Obama was dead-ass wrong when he said he was OK with the $100 million development. He took the middle-of-the-road approach when he said we have to tolerate other religious views in a free country. I am not with that. Hell, no.
There are plenty of places to put a mosque, so why does one have to go up next to a very sacred place for Americans? I don’t care how much the issue is debated. Nor do I care whether New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is behind it. And I’m glad that Florida gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink now opposes it. The terrorists attacked us, and they got us into two wars where American men and women are still being killed. Building the mosque is an insult to the victims of 9/11 and the kids who serve in our armed forces. Hell, 7,000 soldiers have died in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If the Muslims involved with the Ground Zero mosque really wanted to show Americans that not all people of the Islamic faith are bad, why don’t they help support the families of 9/11 victims? Muslims don’t need to explain their religion to Americans. We can go online to find out about Islam. I’m nevertheless glad that Rauf decided to cut short a State Department-sponsored trip to the Middle East to come home and deal with this mess.
Sure, there are many good Muslims, but we also know there are a bunch of messed-up radicals who want to strap bombs to themselves and kill babies.

Damn never thought i would be against anything uncle luke said but he is wrong the muslims that took down the towers were bad people we shouldn’t punish all muslims for that. it would be like punishing all white people for what the klan has done and continues to do.
i honestly agree with luke for once , i never thought he could sound educated but hes right in a sense , its not about punishing all muslims but it would be a slap in the face to build a masque next to ground zero, lets say a man killed and raped your daughter and only went to a mental home because it was suspected that his family raped and abused him through out his life , now if his family was to become your neighbors you wouldnt feel some type of way?
do you dumb stupid muthaphukin punks think muslim blew the twin towers down. You uneducated manipulated dumbdown brain washed niggas you really think a bunch of muslims who live in caves in afgan are so soficated in blowing the twin towers down and they live caves NIGGA PLEASE
THE ONLY REASON THEY EVEN QUOTED LUKE’S NON POLITICAL IGNORANT A@# IS BECAUSE HE IS A BLACK MAN WHO SAID SOMETHING AGAINST OBAMA AND THAT IS ALL THEY NEED RIGHT NOW! YOU DON’T PUNISH AN ENTIRE RELIGION JUST BECAUSE A COUPLE OF CRAZIES BLEW UP A COUPLE OF BUILDINGS. 9/11 HAD ALOT OF STRANGE COINCIDENCES ANYWAY SUCH AS THERE BEING EXPLOSIVES IN THE TOWER. LUKE, SHUT UP ABOUT POLITICS AND GO RAISE YOUR REBELLIOUS KIDS!!!!!
I agree with Luke. its not about all muslims are terriost or bad people. its about what happened on 9/11 and the fact that the people who do it hide behind that religion. they use that religion to justify killing and you reward them with a Mosque one block away from a building coming down and two blocks away from the Twin Towers used to be. They can build it anywhere just not that close.
Luke you wrong for this one!!!ask yo momma if the 911 tragedy ‘s not everywhere luke call the cops luke…911 why never the number 10?????ask yourself if it was not a conspiracy I mean WAKE UP!!!you so……………………IGNORANT MAY ALLAH PARDON YOU!!!PARIS STAND UP.
nigga who ever believes osama or a group of muslims did 9/11 and not our own goverment and illuminati u need to do some research
I dont agree with this uncle luke guy, he said they blew up the world trade center first of all Bin laden worked wit the Bush family, look it up and if you look closely when the building went down you can clearly see that it was inside job, there are over a billion muslims around the world, so for you to say they shouldnt build a mosque is wrong, and it’s not even a mosque but a place for all kinds of stuff they have playgrounds etc, you went to Iraq because of oil and other resources the fact of the matter is U.S. leaves of other people resources, they have nothing ur black ass should know, America actually needs Islam they need muslims help, without them all this resources wouldnt exist ofcurse god gets all the glory, but what I am saying is U.S. degrades women they have naked pics everywere, porno, bitches and etc, but islam promotes peace and it’s simply submission to god, if you study it careful I will give anybody that finds holy war in the quran my lifesavings on my momma, basically dont judge the religion buy the people but by it’s context Peace!
Don’t forget, the victims of the 9/11 attacks included about 60 Muslims who worked at the WTC. They were making a living just like everyone else in the towers, not (as creepy uncle Puke put it) strapping bombs to themselves and blowing people up. Anyone who treats women as slaves and inferior to men (like uncle Puke) does not deserve to have his views parroted by the media, especially those who blasted him over 20 years ago for his so-called “music.”
