Kanye West Says He Thought About Killing Himself
Kanye West has admitted that he considered ending his life on a number of different occasions.
According to The AP, West told reporters at the premiere of his new extended music video for ‘Runaway’ that he had “contemplated suicide” at times when life looked particularly bleak.
The ‘Power’ rapper said that he now sees the error of those ways and promised his fans the he “will not give up on life again”.
West also vowed that he would dedicate his career to speaking for those who do not have the platform to voice their own concerns about society.
The 35-minute music video for ‘Runaway’ debuts on October 23 during a simulcast on BET, MTV, and VH1.
