It makes a year that the Brooklyn Emcee, Mike Beck passed away.
For those that don’t know Mike Beck was once a member of the hip hop
group K.A.R (Kill All Rats) which was part of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad.
He left the group to further his career and form his own company,
Heavy Bank.

Mike Beck built a strong report with many well known
members of the hip hop community and collaborated with many
established rappers during his short time in the music industry. On
october 30th 2009 Hip Hop lost an inspiring rapper and father when
Mike Beck was shot and killed on the streets of East New York,
Brooklyn. The same streets that raised Mike took his life. People from
all over showed their support for Mike Beck as well over 1200 people
flowed threw his funeral to say their last good byes.

A year later, we Celebrate the Life of Mike Beck with this
tribute track put together by his close friends 3.2.6.’s PoeRilla, Tha
Embassy Elite, Mizzle, Equan, J Mendez, Munchdawg, & Cuban Link.

Suge White also put together a new mixtape for ENY’s Finest-Mike Beck,
showing just how many artists messed with and respected Mike. He was
really goin places, it’s a shame he had to lose his life. The mixtape
features collabs from hip hop heavy weights, N.O.R.E., Busta Rhymes,
Maino, Remy Ma, Papoose, Layzie Bone, Max B, Freeway, Grafh, Rock of
Heltah Skeltah, Tony Sunshine, and many more.
