Aretha Franklin Says She’s Giving Up Pig Feet And Chitterlings To Lose Weight

NEW YORK (AP) – Aretha Franklin, who says she’s back at “150 percent,” is planning to return to the stage in May for her first post-surgery performance.
The Grammy Award-winning singer will also release an album that month with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. More personally, she’s working on losing more weight from her frame, which is noticeably slimmer since her December surgery.

Michael Vick Cancels Appearance On Oprah Winfrey Show

CHICAGO – Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not be appearing on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” after all.
A show spokesman said Wednesday representatives of the NFL star called late Tuesday to cancel his appearance for personal reasons. The daytime talk show host’s interview with Vick was set to air Thursday, Feb. 24.
