(NewsCore) – Rapper Rick Ross will perform in North Carolina Saturday night as scheduled after being hospitalized twice Friday for seizures, TMZ reported.

The Greensboro Coliseum, where Ross is scheduled to perform as part of North Carolina A&T State University’s homecoming, said representatives for the “Hustlin’” rapper called the venue Saturday morning to say he was feeling better and would be on stage as planned.

The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is William Roberts, became unconscious due to a seizure Friday shortly after his plane took off from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The plane was forced to make an emergency landing and the entertainer was wheeled off on a gurney by paramedics awaiting the flight. He was scheduled to perform in Memphis but did not.

He was taken to a hospital emergency room in Birmingham, Ala., late Friday after suffering his second seizure of the day.
