Man Kidnaps Ex-Girlfriend While She’s On A Date With Another Dude
FRESNO, Texas – Deputies on Thursday arrested a suspect in an early morning kidnapping in Fort Bend County.
Kristopher O’Neal, 31, was arrested at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
Investigators said O’Neal abducted a former girlfriend from a convenience store in the 9000 block of Highway 6 around 3:30 a.m.
Deputies said the victim had gone to the store with a date. While he was inside paying for gas, another patron walked into the store and told him that an unknown man had hit his date, taken her out of the car and forced her into another vehicle.
The victim’s date quickly spotted a Fort Bend County deputy and told him about the abduction.
After a short investigation, deputies learned that O’Neal was the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
They later found out that the victim had been transported to Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center with unknown injuries.
They found O’Neal at the hospital and took him into custody. It was not clear how the woman was injured, but she remained at Memorial Hermann Thursday afternoon.
O’Neal was taken to the Fort Bend County Jail and charged with kidnapping.
