Judge Blocks New Florida Welfare Drug Testing Law

ORLANDO, Florida – A federal judge temporarily blocked Florida’s new law that requires government assistance applicants to pass a drug test before receiving the benefits on Monday, saying it may violate the Constitution’s ban on unreasonable searches and seizures.

A 37-year-old Memphis, Tenn. man is in police custody after he allegedly sexually assaulted his 57-year-old mother. According to court documents, the suspect asked his mother for help changing a light bulb, but instead he grabbed his mother from behind and raped her.

A Vallejo man was found in a child’s swing Saturday morning after reportedly being stuck for about nine hours, police said.
At about 6 a.m., a groundskeeper of Blue Rock Springs Park heard a man screaming when he arrived at work. He then called the police to investigate.

Ludacris has shut down rumors that he was asked to write Justin Bieber’s rhymes for BET Hip Hop Awards’ ‘Cypher’.
The ‘Cypher’ is a pre-recorded segment showcasing freestyle performances by hip-hop artists. The 2011 lineup included Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, B.o.B and Eminem, with hip-hop producer DJ Premier as the presenter.
