Rapper B.G. Headed To Trial, While Friend Gets 22 Years In Prison

A 29-year-old New Orleans man was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison Wednesday for obstructing justice and possessing a firearm. Jerod Fedison, a convicted felon with a lengthy rap sheet, previously pleaded guilty in January in federal court. The charges stem from a New Orleans traffic stop in November 2009. Fedison, Demounde Pollard, and local rapper Christopher Dorsey, who goes by the moniker “BG,” were in the stolen car, along with three guns, authorities said.
