We know that Steve Blake is not the most popular guy on the Lakers roster, but this is ridiculous. The point guard and wife Kristen Blake received death threats after he missed a critical shot in Game 2 of the Lakers NBA playoff series versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.

At the end of Game 2, Blake missed a three-pointer that may have won the game for the Lakers. A handful of angry Lakers fan threatened Steve and Kristen Blake via Twitter.

“I hope your family gets murdered,” said one tweet to Blake.

Kristen Blake was forced to block 500 people from her account. She then wrote: “I am deeply grateful & humbled by the outpouring of love, support, & most of all prayers for our family in light of recent events-THANK YOU!”
