Houston’s “King of the Streets,” Trae Tha Truth, has been shot, according to early reports. The rapper born Frazier Thompson III was one of five people wounded at Scores Cabaret, an after-hours club in Southwest Houston. Three of the victims died at the scene, MyFoxHouston.com reported on Wednesday (June 20).

Trae was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated for his gunshot wound. At 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, a photographer affiliated with the Houston MC tweeted an update from the Twitter handle @LowLifeDynasty, writing, “Everybody TRAE is ok. Minor gunshot wound.” In the accompanying photo, the recent Grand Hustle signee is shown wearing his hospital gown and smiling while seated upright on a bed chucking up the “W” sign.

Witnesses told Houston’s KTRK TV that more than 20 shots were fired in the parking lot of the strip club. According to police, the shooting victims who were pronounced dead at the scene were identified as two males and one female; names are still being withheld at this time. Police spokesman Victor Senties told Fox News that there were no details on what sparked the shooting, and that no one has been taken into custody.
