A Texas woman was shocked when she opened a hefty electric bill from her utility company, according to a Thursday report.

Yahoo.com said single mom Kristin Harriger was expecting a bill for around $100, but found out she had been charged for $1,381,783.92.

Harriger reportedly thought it was a joke at first and took photos of the astronomical bill to show to her friends.

Yahoo.com said she contacted the company and discovered a computer error caused the mistake.

Instead of being charged the 9 cents per-kilowatt-hour rate, the utility charged her $1,000 per kilowatt hour, according to the article.

The company reportedly said a corrected bill will be sent to her. Harriger said she is happy she didn’t have autopayments. Read more.
