Peace Corps Volunteer Lured South African Young Girls With Candy TO SEXUALLY ABUSE THEM

Jesse Osmun, 32, of Milford, Connecticut, was sentenced to fifteen years in prison after pleading guilty to Federal sexual abuse charges involving victims under the age of six during his tenure as a volunteer at an AIDS relief center preschool in South Africa.

According to NBC News, Osmun, whom his victims referred to as “Uncle”, abused young girls – including one victim  twice a week over a period of five months – in exchange for candy.

Earlier this summer, Osmun waived his right to indictment and plead guilty to a single count of traveling from the United States to engage in illicit sexual conduct with children.

During his sentencing at US District Court in Hartford, Osmun said ”I sometimes wish I could take my brain out and wash it of all the memories I have.”
