Representing Jay-Z’s Rocawear line, Becker & Poliakoff filed suit against Ahmad Jamhour’s retail companies for allegedly selling counterfeit Rocawear clothing.

According to documents filed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Bargain Wholesalers & Top Brand Wholesalers have profited from manufacturing and selling counterfeit Rocawear merchandise. The documents state that the amount in questions exceeds $75,000.

The term “Going Ham” was coined by visitors of internet forums in circa 2009 to loosely describe a person who has essentially reacted with excessive force or in an exaggerated manner in response to a challenge. For example, “Father ‘Goes Ham’ on son for dropping out of school,” or “Police went ‘Ham’ on old lady for reckless driving.”

The term resurfaced with Jay Z and Kanye West’s single “Go Ham” off their upcoming album Watch The Throne.

Recently, the Get Reck Apparel clothing line released a “Food 4 Thought” unisex t-shirt series featuring Goin Ham, Goin Beef Stew, Goin Vegan, Goin Dour [for selective smokers], available in all colors and sizes. Gucci will be releasing 3-D glasses, in December the glasses will be available exclusively at US Gucci boutiques for $225 this holiday season.

The Gucci 3-D glasses feature “optically correct 6-base curved lenses with circular polarized technology,” optimal for Real D, the system in use by over half the movie theaters in the country. The Gucci 3-D glasses also “contain a high tech multi-layered mirrored coating which allows the wearer to view themselves in a mirror without distortion.
