A Delaware father says a feud, fueled on Facebook, is to blame for his son’s murder.
Larry Parks, Jr. was gunned down in broad daylight Saturday afternoon.

The shooting happened in the 300 block of New Castle Avenue in Wilmington.

Larry Parks, Sr. says he knew words were exchanged through social media, but his son never felt threatened.

“He was having fun. I guess this other person or whosever involved, he wants to take it somewhere else; that’s what he did, for no reason. He’s gone. He’s gone,” Parks, Sr. said.

The 17-year-old from Bear was a student at Pencader Charter High School.

Counselors were brought in today to talk with Parks’ classmates.

Wilmington police are still searching for the shooter.

Bill Cosby told Russell Simmons to “get the [bleep] out of my face” at the Jackie Robinson Annual Awards Dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria when Simmons tried to apologize for their ongoing beef.

The two have been sparring since 2009, when Cosby launched his “State of Emergency” campaign promoting socially conscious rap music without lyrics celebrating violence, sex or the degradation of women. At the time, Simmons heavily criticized the effort, but tried to make amends with Cosby at the dinner on March 7. “I wanted to find him to apologize, to tell him I was sorry about my statements and to tell him that I loved him,” the rap mogul now writes on his blog, Globalgrind.com.

But instead, according to Simmons, Cosby said, “Get the [bleep] out my face!” Simmons also writes that Cosby “walked by me and bumped me with his shoulder as I walked offstage after presenting my award to Sean [Combs, who was honored at the event] . . . I then loved him even more.” Through a rep, Cosby responded to Page Six, “I don’t want to discuss it.”

Superstars PRINCE and MADONNA have ended their decades-long feud after the MATERIAL GIRL turned up to one of his recent New York concerts and cheered him on from the crowd.

The pop idols were close friends throughout the 1980s and briefly became lovers before teaming up to record the track Love Song, from Madonna’s 1988 album Like a Prayer.

But they suffered a mystery fall-out and their relationship turned bitter as they took shots at one another through the media.

In subsequent interviews, Madonna blasted Prince as a “little troll” and criticised his refusal to eat during one dinner date.

She said, “He was just sipping tea, very daintily. I have this theory about people who don’t eat. They annoy me.”

Their spat continued throughout the years and Prince most recently took aim at mother-of-four Madonna at a concert in London in 2007, when he quipped, “I got so many hits y’all can’t handle me. I got more hits than Madonna’s got kids!”

But the old pals now appear to have put their differences to rest – according to UsMagazine.com, Madonna was spotted in the audience at Prince’s Madison Square Garden gig on Tuesday (18Jan11), singing and clapping along to the soul star’s hits.

And Prince even acknowledged Madonna’s presence by giving her a special shout out from the stage, after joking about the high-price of their concert tickets.

Nicki Minaj sat down with the New York Times for an in-depth interview recently. She spoke about different topics including her various personalities as well as her thoughts on how Lil Kim going in on her is actually making it harder for women to win in Hip-Hop.

That brings up an interesting point because I would be pretty remiss not to mention your spat with Lil’ Kim. When she badmouths you and others doesn’t that just make it even harder for female rappers?

It does, it does. But the thing that I want to promote is that if you see someone doing their thing, give them their props. We all have it hard and face the same challenges as female emcees. Show some mutual love and respect for each other so that it doesn’t get nasty. And she can be a nasty character.

MC Hammer has revealed that he wants to “move on” from his recent fall-out with fellow rapper Jay-Z.

The ‘U Can’t Touch This’ performer recently released a new track called ‘Better Run Run’, wherein he raps about Jay-Z being an “imposter”, and that he stole his “swagger”.

Hammer was reportedly offended by a rap by Jay-Z on Kanye West’s ‘So Appalled’, which contains the lyric: “And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30, ’cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me”.

Jay-Z has responded by saying that the lyrics have been taken “the wrong way”, and that he has spoken highly of MC Hammer in his latest book Decoded.

Now, MC Hammer has begun to end the disagreement by telling AllHipHop: “As a responsible veteran of twenty-something years of this, I can’t leave it out there with tensions.”

“I am reading comments on both sides – it’s not about that, I have seen all of that before. There is an opportunity to say at some point we [should move] onto the next thing. You know, Jay took his shot and I answered. Now let’s move on.”
