Professional football player turned actor, Bernie Casey, has died. Casey was mostly know for his parts in “Revenge of the Nerds” and “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka.” His talent agent Erin Connor said that Casey died on Tuesday in Los Angeles after a brief illness. He passed away at the age of 78. During his career, Casey played for the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams before going back to his alma mater, Bowling Green State University, to get a master’s degree in fine arts. After playing football, he appeared in approximately 35 films.
