Should Diddy respond to Drake’s diss in his new song “4PM in Calabasas?”
According to Joe Budden he should because the OVO rapper seemingly took a shot at the Bad Boy mogul with this particular line:
“The higher I get the less they accept me / Even had the OGs trying to press me, Ha, ha, ha,” rapped Drizzy, imitating Diddy’s distinct laugh on the song “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down.”
In the following line, he also referenced the name of the album that the 1997 cut was on. “‘No Way Out’ cause I’m already in it,” spit Drake.
If you remember, the Canadian wordsmith and Diddy reportedly had a physical altercation in a Miami nightclub back in 2014, and it was over a beat they both wanted.
As far as “4PM In Calabasas”, Budden told Puff that he should fire back at Drake, just to be competitive and to protect the Bad Boy name. This was after the Slaughterhouse member said he thought the 6 God sounded uninspired on “Views.”
“Can’t let a n—- grab the classic Bad Boy loop, then sing all your hits as he dissed you and not fire back for hip-hop,” wrote Joe.
