Former drug company executive Martin Shkreli has been convicted of fraud after a highly publicized, monthlong trial. Federal prosecutors had accused the 34-year-old of defrauding investors in his hedge funds and stealing from his old drug company to pay them back. Shkreli was convicted on two counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy, but was found not guilty on five other counts. He faces up to 20 years in prison, but legal experts say he could get less. Jurors had to wade through more than four weeks of testimony and closing arguments took two days.
