On his radio show Wednesday, conservative pundit Sean Hannity decided to tackle the issue of the moment (and of the past two centuries): the Confederate flag. He drew some rather unlikely equivalencies in the process — namely, he said if retailers wanted to stop selling things that were offensive (as so many have done with the flag, in the wake of last week’s Charleston shooting), they should stop selling hip-hop as well.
