According to the Daily Mail, the U.S. Patent Office has rejected Kylie Jenner’s application last week to trademark her name. In 2014, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star, tried to trademark the name “Kylie” in America, but met opposition from the Australian singer Kylie Minogue. The BBC reported that Minogue withdrew her opposition on January 19th, implying the two may have reached a settlement out of court. In Minogue’s filing against Jenner’s application, the pop-singer called the other Kylie a “secondary reality-television personality” and in contrast, described herself as an “internationally renowned performing artist, humanitarian and breast-cancer activist known worldwide simply as ‘Kylie.”
