After months of controversy, the Greater Church of Lucifer opened its doors right in the heart of that small town for the first time despite an attempt by vandals to shut them down.
The protesters are gone. The deputy sheriffs are gone. But the lingering question at the church is can’t we all just get along?
Michael W. Ford, Church of Lucifer co-president, said the church has gatherings but not services.
“We don’t preach,” he said. “We don’t have something that we try to tell people this is reality.”
