Uber has put the brakes on its experimental autonomous vehicles in all test cities. This comes after a deadly collision Sunday between an Uber vehicle and a woman in Tempe, Arizona. This is the first pedestrian fatality involving an autonomous vehicle. Tempe’s police chief suggests Uber isn’t to blame in the crash though. The car was operating in self-driving mode, but a driver was in the car. Video footage confirms the driver took her eyes off the road.
