For those that don’t know Donna Goudeou, here’s a brief summary.
In 2011 a Port Arthur, Texas woman named Donna Goudeau was charged and convicted along with 2 other male individuals for robbery and attempted capital murder on Juan Sustiata, a 73-year-old Kansas man who was staying at the Driftwood Inn on Memorial Boulevard while working in Port Arthur as a pipefitter on the Motiva expansion project.
According to Authorities, on July 20, 2011, Donna Renee Goudeau, along with two men, Keyron Elmore, 28, and Jeremy Goudeau, 20, knocked on several doors at Driftwood Inn until Juan Sustiata answered. Upon opening the door, the perpetrators forced themselves into Juan Sustiata’s room, physically assaulted him and stole his debit card.
The video of their arrests was caught on tape, and in 2014 the video went viral, turning Donna Goudeau into an internet sensation. She became known for many quotable phrases, including, “Mama, I love you, POP hold it down, Pimp Squad baby for life.”
After months of notoriety, rumors began to circulate that Donna Goudeau had been murdered in prison.
So we wrote her a letter to see if it was true… And she wrote back.
After a short series of correspondence, Donna agreed to allow us to interview her.
