Twenty-three-year-old Kaylee Moats realized that she wasn’t like other girls when she hadn’t received her period by the age of 18. Allure reports that she was diagnosed with “Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser syndrome.” The condition can cause women to be born without a vagina, cervix, or uterus. Moats was born without a vagina, among other reproductive organs. Although her insurance doesn’t cover the cost of constructive surgery, her family set up a Go Fund Me page and have raised over 17 thousand dollars. Kaylee’s sister said that the procedure would no only improve her sister’s quality of life, but also allow her to be in an intimate relationship.
